Amitabh Bachchan refused to promote Cola products on moral grounds but Deepika endorsed the same brand for whopping 6 Crores!

It is now evident that filmstars and sportstars (cricketers, I mean…aheam!) not only make money with their original profession but also earn huge sums by endorsing products and signing ad campaigns for big multinational companies. Recently we reported that Ranbir Kapoor bagged a big deal with Lays Chips Company for endorsement. Now its time for hottest diva beautiful Deepika Padukone to follow his footprints.

We understand that Deepika has recently signed a deal worth 6 Crore rupees with Cola brand. The whopping amount was given to this long legged beauty to endorse the cola products in some ad campaigns. Undoubtedly sky has become a limit for her. With four back to back hits last year Deepika is at the zenith of her career. Producers are running after her to get her on board and ad producers are dying to sign her to be face of their brands and products.

Infact Deepika is already endorsing many other renowned brands like Lux and Nescafe. In Cola brands advertisements she will be seen with co-star Farhan Akhtar. Deepika has reportedly signed the deal for at least a year.

An insider source from the company said that the company has been very selective about the brand ambassadors of their products. Earlier they had Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on board for this. That time Aishwarya was at the top of her acting career. Now after a long gap they want Deepika in this position.

In the past Cola brand was endorsed by many leading actors in the industry and it is Deepika’s turn now. Ironically Big B Amitabh Bachchan had stopped endorsing the brand after he was questioned by a college student as to why is he promoting the product which is termed as poison. What interesting episode followed after was that Big B refused to promote the product.

It is indeed proved that different people have different morality and principles of ethics vary from star to star!
