Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan will star opposite each other in Reema Kagati’s upcoming film. It will be interesting to see if audiences like this new pair.
Kangana Ranaut received much appreciation for her performance in Queen but her recent film Revolver Rani fall flat on face on box office. Her performance in the film too was not praiseworthy. However filmmakers are recognising the star for her best work and not the bad ones and Kangana is certainly one of the leading actresses in industry today.
Recently Reema Kagti (director of Amir Khan starrer ‘Talaash’) approached Kangana for her upcoming film. It is expected that she wants to cast Kangana opposite Saif Ali Khan. Recently Kangana rejected Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Durga Rani Singh’ and it seems that she is becoming too choosy about the scripts being offered.
Reema was impressed with Kangana’s performance in Queen and approached her with a suitable script of her choice. It is understood that Kangana has liked the script very much. It is a romantic drama and written with much detailing. She had a comprehensive discussion about the story of the film with the director.
Currently Kangana is pursuing her course in scriptwriting in New York and will be back to the town only in July. She will then take a final call on finalising her role in the film.
At the moment Kangana is busy doing the sequel of the film Tanu Weds Manu by Aanad L Raj. She is also doing one another movie titled Divine Lovers starring Irrfan Khan opposite her. It will be the first time however that Kangana will star opposite Saif in Reema Kagti’s movie.
