After a long hue and cry, Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s costume drama Padmavat is finally releasing on 25th January. But before the film hits the silver screen, the makers are making necessary changes in it. These changes had been directed by the Central Board Of Film Certification before issuing a UA certificate to the film a couple of weeks ago.

According to reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been instructed to remove all references to the cities of Delhi, Chittorgarh and Mewar in the film. If reports are to be believed, the whole team of the film is working round the clock to make the necessary changes and modify the film as per the instructions from the CBFC. Though no one from the production team has confirmed this, reports suggest that Padmavat is going through around 300 cuts before its theatrical release on 25th January 2018.

Padmavat stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in prominent roles. It is clashing with R Balki‘s Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles.
