However above all he was a distinguished teacher. 5th September is marked as his birth date and is observed a Teachers Dayin India to pay a tribute to this great laureate.
On this day many Bollywood celebrities paid homage to Dr. Radhakrishnan. We will take a glimpse at what they said –
Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh is short of words while expressing his gratitude towards his teachers and professors. He says, “I think that we all remember our teachers. It is a very common phenomenon. Teachers have a certain aura around them which we carry in the form of memories throughout our lives.” Amitabh further recalled his memories when he was a student and was studying at college. At that time his parents decided that he should attend collage and b a graduate. However for young Amitabh it was such a waste of time. He wanted to make career in acting and hence was willing to pursue acting classes to groom his skills. However unlike today, such training facilities were not easily available that time and Amitabh decided to complete his graduation. Today he is glad that he is a graduate and holds a degree which is a very essential milestone in thing for anybodies educational life.
Sonali Bendre
Unlike any other student Sonali has some different story to tell. She never studied at a same school or collage. Because of this reason she finds it difficult to remember any particular teacher which she admired a lot. Though she entered a entertainment industry very early and had started working very soon. Hence she believes that she has learnt a lot of things while working and her work is her real teacher.
“I came here as a young and a naïve girl. It was a different world and I learnt a lot. I have experienced different things in my career and if it were any other field, it would have taken me a lifetime to collect the experience that I have gained in past 20 years.” Sonali says. Indeed we get a real experience of life only when we come out of a comfort zone of home and start working professionally.
