Amir Khan’s multi-starrer blockbuster of the year Dhoom 3 set yet another record in Hindi Film Industry by earning Rs 100 Crore within 3 days of its release. It is a new height in business achieved by any commercial Hindi cinema till date.

Yes. You read it right. There is one more entry in official 100 Crore club. Its none other than Amir Khan’s big release of the year ‘Dhoom3’. The film is setting new records since the day of its release. As it is released in most of the theatres worldwide and in India, it is breaking all the established records of earlier blockbusters and is setting new benchmarks for earning. The film has earned a title of being a greatest non-holiday opener for the first time in Bollywood but has also achieved a 100 Crore earning landmark in mere three days of its release. But yes, it was all expected too!

 

After seeing the rapid progress trade analysts are predicting that Dhoom3 will enter 250 Crore club by the of this week. Since the Christmas and New Year holidays are coming soon, it will be an added advantage for the film.

 

Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines said, “The movie is still doing good business. Dec 25 is Christmas, so the demand for the tickets is more. But the movie is doing well on weekdays too. It surely has the potential to cross Rs.250 crore this week,”

 

The rush for advance booking is remarkable. In Spice Cinemas, Delhi the Christmas advance booking is like a hot cake. They have booked almost 4,000 tickets for Christmas and it has been confirmed by Mr. Punit Sahay, senior manager programming, Spice Cinemas. Advance booking is still going on and audience’s interest is growing at the same rapid rate.

 

It is interesting to know that along with Hindi, ‘Dhoom 3’ is released in Tamil and Telugu versions as well.It may be for the first time for any dubbed Hindi Cinema in South that in Chennai more than 50 percent of the tickets are sold out for the next three days at major multiplexes. Isn’t it interesting?
