Finally the date of most awaited marriage of B-town is fixed! We are talking about Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor‘s marriage which was hanging among the predictions and speculations by media and fans.
Much was talked and much more was anticipated about the date as the topic of Saifeena’s wedding had almost become a national issue. Sharmila Tagore – mother of Saif Ali Khan has finally declared that the wedding will take place on 16th October. She had already announced this date around three months back however the news had not got any official confirmation from both the families. It is now settled that the wedding day will be none other than 16 October 2012. The venue of the ceremony was not declared and it is expected that it will take place at some exotic place in Maldives or Copacabana. No doubt it is going to be one of the grand marriage that Bollywood has seen in recent years!
Sharmila has told that there will be two reception parties post marriage. First one will be at Mumbai while other will be at held Delhi. The Mumbai reception – which will immediately follow the marriage – will take place on 17th October and is expected to host all the Bollywood celebrities and friends of both families. Delhi reception will be hosted for the royal people of Khan Clan and relatives as well as political friends of Sharmila Tagore.
Kareena will wear Sharmila’s sharara in her marriage
It is reported that Kareena will be wearing the sharara that Sharmila herself had wore on her wedding day so as to continue the legacy of the family. It will be a very happy and precious moment for Kareena when she will wear the dress of her soon-to-be mother-in-law.
Will Kareena convert to Islam?
This question was much talked about during the rumors of Saif and Kareena’s marriage. According to conservative Islamic rules a bride has to be Muslim to be eligible to get married to a Muslim man. At the time of her marriage, Sharmila Tagore also had to change her religion and adopt Islam so that she could get married with Nawab Pataudi. However Saif denied the necessity of any such ritual. He said that he don’t believe in changing anyone’s religion as having faith in any religion is ones personal matter and we should respect it.
Saif’s children are happy with Kareena
When asked about if his children from his first wife Amrita Singh are happy with the marriage of their father, Saif confirmed that not only the children but an entire family is very happy with the new relation that is going to begin between the two families. It was earlier reported that the children found it tough managing with new mother Kareena.
