Last night it was the teaser launch of the film, ‘Thackeray’, and it was gripping and marvelous. Leaving all the speculations behind and proving all the rumours correct, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the man, who is playing the role of Shiv Sena founder, the late Balasaheb Thackeray. The event was presented by actor Sachin Khedekar, the chief guests of the event were megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Shiv Sena chief, Uddhav Thackeray. The film is being written by Sanjay Raut and will be helmed by Marathi film director, Abhijit Panse. Though Nawazuddin wasn’t present at the launch, he shared his gratitude through a video, where he thanked the makers for casting him to play the role of late Balasaheb Thackeray.
