Plot – Mukkabaaz is a story of a low caste boxer, Shravan. He works as a trainer in a gym owned by a Brahman an upper caste social strata named Bhagwan Das Misra and who happens to be a local Don. Shravan falls for Misra’s niece, Sunaina which seemed unacceptable by the Misra as Shravan hails from a lower caste and lower strata. Our hero, Shravan struggled to become a successful boxer to get his love, Sunaina while avoiding the ongoing retaliation from Misra, the local Don there.
Review: Directed and scripted by Anurag Kashyap, the movie seems to be one of the best works of Kashyap. The sequences are put brilliantly with the right amount of emotions, tenderness and the mix of violence in emotions. The timings, the pace, the expressions and all the characters fall at their place giving the perfect essence of a deep love story where the hero strives to own his love.
