Veteran actor Charlie, who plays the role of Sivakarthikeyan’s father in Velaikkaran, talks about the film which is set to hit screens worldwide on December 22 for the Christmas day weekend alongside Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

Talking about his working experience with Siva, Charlie said, “Sometimes, we get attached to a person and start sharing an unconditional affinity towards them. Sivakarthikeyan was such a person to work with, and our rapport got great due to our off-screen friendship. During the contemporary times, when the young generation of actors get confined to their own ideologies, Sivakarthikeyan proved to be an exception with his complete down-to-earth and good nature. This helped us perform even better in the roles of father and son. Our combination of sequences will involve both entertainment and emotions. I play a father, who will be the backbone of his son’s decision, supporting him wholeheartedly.”
