Living up to every possible expectation that people had from the movie, Tiger Zinda Hai has now entered the prestigious club of Rs. 200 crore. The way it started off upon its release, everyone knew it wouldn’t take much time in achieving this feat. The action-thriller made Rs. 15.42 crore on Thursday and took its aggregate box office total to date to a humongous Rs. 206.04 crore within a week. The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film has now landed just ahead of Ajay Devgn’s hit comic-caper, Golmaal Again. Released on Diwali, Golmaal Again had ended its box office run at an impressive Rs. 205.70 crore. The film has also crossed the lifetime collection of its predecessor, Ek Tha Tiger, which had earned Rs. 198.78 crores upon its release in 2012.

Tiger Zinda Hai, which also stars Katrina Kaif, is Salman Khan’s fifth film in the Rs. 200 crore club after Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 320.34 crore), Sultan (Rs. 300.45 crore), Kick (Rs. 231.85 crore) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs. 208.88 crore). It is his second film which took 7 days to cross the milestone; the other one being his last blockbuster Sultan (Rs. 300.45 crores).

Looking ahead, Tiger Zinda Hai seems all set to rake in at least Rs. 250 crore by the end of its second weekend.
