Some facts about Preity
Preity made a dream debut opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in 1998 in film ‘Dil Se’. her performance in the film was acclaimed and she won hearts of many by her cute dimples.
In the same year she starred in yet another super hit film ‘Soldier’ opposite Bobby Deol and announced herself on the big screen with these two back to back hits. With these two roles she also bagged a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut .
Preity was born in a Punjabi family in Shimla district, Himanchal Pradesh. Her father was an office in Indian army and died in a car accident when she was 13 years old.
Preity’s first ad commercial was for Perk Cholcolates.
Preity again received Filmfare award for her role in the superhit film Kaal ho Na ho.
Apart from Hindi , Preity also has worked in Punjabi, Telgu and English movies.
