Tina Philip has decided to avoid flights for a while after her recent experience; says, “Sitting in an aircraft that didn’t move for hours was frustrating… and eventually the flight was canceled!

Actress Tina Philip has decided to avoid flying for a while after her recent harrowing experience. Tina who rose to fame with her stint in Kumkum Bhagya took to social media, where she talked about it and shared how frustrating it was for her as a passenger and how after all that, she still hasn’t gotten a refund.

During an interview, Tina was asked about it and she said, “I had to take an Air India flight from Mumbai to Delhi on December 14 at 4.30 pm. I was traveling to attend a family function that night and was planning to return within a few hours. But my entire plan went for a toss. They first delayed departure from Mumbai by an hour and made it 5.30 pm. Then when we finally boarded the flight, it didn’t take off till 7:30 pm. They kept switching off the lights and the air conditioner saying that they were fixing a technical glitch. After a point, people could not breathe inside, some babies were crying because everyone was feeling trapped. I too felt claustrophobic. It was absolutely frustrating. They weren’t opening the doors and were not switching on the ACs or the lights either. After a lot of yelling by passengers, they finally opened the doors of the aircraft.”

She added, “What followed was utter confusion. No information regarding the flight, whether it would take off or not or was another one being arranged for passengers… we were given no information. Not even about our luggage! Later at night, they said that the flight wouldn’t take off, so we all got off. We looked for our luggage and that went on for a while. After a few hours, I found my bag, which was around midnight. And to top it all, after ten days, I still haven’t got a refund.”
