Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai remains strong; earns Rs. 7.83 crore on its second Tuesday!

Yash Raj Films‘ latest blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai is in no mood to slow down at the box office. The film, which hit screens on 22nd December 2017, has been earning well even after 12 days of its release. On its second Tuesday, i.e. 2nd January, the Salman Khan starrer film snagged Rs. 7.83 crore, taking its total box office earning to Rs. 280.62 crore. After entering Rs. 100 and 200 crore clubs with ease, the film is now aiming to reach Rs. 300 crore club to become superstar Salman Khan‘s third film in the elite club, after Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 320.24 crores) and Sultan (Rs. 300.54 crores).

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously directed Salman Khan in Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai will still run in cinemas for several more weeks as no big release is coming up to compete with it. January has only two mega releases – Akshay Kumar‘s Pad Man and Sidharth Malhotra‘s Aiyaary. Both films are releasing in the last week of the month, which means that Tiger Zinda Hai has an open field to play and make as much money as possible till the release of Aiyaary and Pad Man.

Tiger Zinda Hai, which is a sequel to the big tentpole Ek Tha Tiger, also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
