Period movies are the new success mantra for Hindi filmmakers, and that has been adopted by biggie like Yash Raj Films as well. Aditya Chopra’s YRF, who has been making some of the biggest films in the Hindi film industry for the last couple of decades, has now brought us a period war entertainer, Shamshera. Karan Malhotra, who made his directorial debut with 2012’s Agneepath, will helm this film and it stars Ranbir Kapoor.
