Instead of receiving any gift on his 52nd birthday, Salman Khan has given an exciting gift to his fans by announcing his new film, ‘Bharat’! It’s not a single or double, but a triple celebration moment for Salman Khan. The first is that Bhaijaan just turned 52 today, the second is, his film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is doing exceptionally well at the ticket windows and the third exciting news is, that his upcoming film, ‘Bharat’, will now be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. The cherry on the cake moment is, ‘Bharat’ will be helmed by director Ali Abbas Zafar, who has already given two blockbusters with Salman in the form of TZH and ‘Sultan’. Speaking about T-Series coming on board, Atul Agnihotri says, “In life, you just click with some people. Bhushan and I have interacted many a times in the past. His sensibility for content matched with ours. So having T-Series on board with us on Bharat was a very smooth and organic process for both of us.”

About coming on board for Bharat, Bhushan Kumar says, “We have had a long-standing association with Salman Khan from when we acquired the music of ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’. We produced Bhai’s two other films ‘Lucky: No Time For Love’ and ‘Ready’, both of which were successful collaborations. Atul and I gel well and we decided to join hands on Bharat, a human drama that is bound to touch you beyond measure.”
‘Bharat’, which will be helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, is set to release on Eid 2019.
