Now there’s another roadblock for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’!

After all the havoc and troubles that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film has been facing since the very beginning, we can easily say that ‘Padmavati’ has become synonymous with controversies. From day 1, the film has been opposed by some or the other and amidst all the controversies, its release was postponed to an indefinite time period. After the 68 days prior submission guidelines by the Censor Board, ‘Padmavati’ has now gotten into trouble with the CBFC as the institution refused to certify the magnum opus again. The reason given is that the disclaimer in the certification application of whether Padmavati is based on historical facts or fiction had not been mentioned by the makers.

The movie was initially scheduled to release on 1st December 2017, but due to all the issues around, it got postponed and now there are rumours running rife that in spite of all this, ‘Padmavati
