1] Ranveer and Deepika are pretty serious about their ‘no phones’ policy; security gets tightened

Bollywood’s most loved couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be tying the knot in a day or so and the fans can’t control their excitement. They will be getting married tomorrow at Lake Como, Italy. Their sangeet ceremony will be held today evening and singer Harshdeep Kaur is expected to perform with others at it, there were reports doing the rounds that the couple wants to enjoy their privacy at the wedding and have asked their guests to not carry phones for the ceremonies. Seems like it was no joke to them!

As per a leading publication, it seems that there are three levels of security screening at the villa, to ensure absolute privacy. We wonder if any pictures will even get leaked on social media from their D-day or we’ll have to wait until the couple decides to share it themselves.

Ranveer’s stylist, Nitasha, took to her Twitter account to share an update of a ceremony that was held on Monday evening. She tweeted saying that ‘no pictures but it was beautiful to see them together, could n’t stop my tears and they are tears of happiness.’

Ranveer and Deepika will tie the knot as per both South Indian and Sindhi traditions. After the wedding ceremony, they’ll return to India and host a grand reception party for their industry friends on 28 November at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

The power couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, will tie the knot on November 14 (which will be a Konkani style wedding) and 15 (Anand Karaj ceremony), while their pre-wedding functions had commenced from early November. As fans are quite desperate to know each and every detail about the special day, here’s another detail that will get the fans all excited.

Wedding Planner: As per some media reports, it seems that Vandana Mohan, the owner of The Wedding Design company, is the couple’s wedding planner. Vandana, who has planned lavish high-profile weddings in Italy and is known for the beautiful decorations against ancient architecture, will be seen leaving no stone unturned to make the occasion special for DeepVeer.

Menu: Talking about the wedding menus, the couple chose a mix of Indian and continental dishes. The menu will be according to the theme of the wedding. While south Indian menu will have traditional dishes like dosa, rice, among others, the guests will also get a chance to taste Punjabi cuisines. The reports also suggest that the couple has signed bonds with chefs to prepare original dishes and will not be repeated anywhere else. Also, special chefs from Switzerland will arrive to bake the wedding cake and will also serve amazing desserts.

As per some media reports, like Anushka Sharma, Deepika too is planning to wear Sabyasachi creation on her wedding. According to the outlet, the couple will be sporting completely traditional attire, which will be having a touch of Sabyasachi’s signature style. Earlier on a chat show, when Deepika was asked to pick which designer she would want to create her wedding look, the actress chose Sabyasachi over Manish Malhotra. The couple is also reportedly planning to host two separate wedding receptions– one for Deepika’s family and friends in Bengaluru and the other one in Mumbai for Ranveer’s family and their friends from the industry.

While Konkani ceremony will have attires designed in white and gold, Deepika is expected to wear a red lehenga-choli for her Sindhi marriage. The bridal lehenga will be vibrant red with intricate threadwork; it will bear the designer’s signature touch. Ranveer, on the other hand, will wear Kanjeevaram sherwani with equally delicate threadwork.
