Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaaz collected Rs.1.5 crores on the opening day, after getting released on January 12, 2018 on screens across the country. According to the reports, the movie got 12 percent occupancy. Receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike, the movie is likely to be a hit.
Its Box Office Collection on the weekend will, however, determine whether it is a hit or flop. As of now, the movie will collect more than its initial budget.
Ever since the launch of its trailer, Mukkabaaz was in the limelight. The movie was praised by Shah Rukh Khan as well. But unlike the ace director’s other movies which mostly target the youth audience, this movie is for the family audience.
It, being a sports drama, fits the tastes of youth as well. In addition, the director himself has a good amount of fans who will rush to the theatres for every one of his films.
Mukkabaaz is produced by Anurag Kashyap, Anand L. Rai, Madhu Mantena Varma, and Vikramaditya Motwane under the banner Phantom Films.
Vineet Kumar Singh appears as Shravan in the title role while Zoya Hussain plays his love interest, Sunaina Mishra. Jimmy Shergill and Ravi Kishan among others
