Television actress Mouni Roy, who is all set for her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold, a historical sports drama film directed by Reema Kagti and bagged another major film including Brahmastra, a trilogy Directed by Ayan Mukerji starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.

The 32-year-old Nagin fame actress has bagged another big movie in her kitty. Mouni Roy will be seen opposite to versatile actor RajKummar Rao, in Dinesh Vijan’s quirky comedy Made in China. She will play the role of Raj wife in the movie who will be a Gujarati businessman and she’s true Mumbaikar who moves to Gurjat after marrying him.

Through her character in the film, filmmakers want to throw light on the unsung heroes of every Indian Houses, that is the homemaker.  She’s a simple middle-class wife who is bubbly and have high dreams for her husband and loves him beyond words. She’s his best support system and stands as a true pillar and when the opportunity sticks regarding living in China, she gets super excited for the same. It is a  fascinating love journey of two young couple who wants to work as hard as possible in order to lead a prosperous life
