After teasing the audience by unveiling one interesting poster after the other, Akshay Kumar finally released the trailer of his much-awaited film, ‘Padman’ on 15th December. As was expected, within minutes of going live on YouTube, the trailer inflamed the internet and started trending across all social media platforms.

Based on a true story, ‘Padman’ is a social drama film, which talks about a very pertinent topic of low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas. In the trailer, Akshay is shown as a villager who manages to manufacture low-cost sanitary pads for his wife and the entire rural women and becomes the desi superhero.
