Former Beauty Queen and talented actress Lara Dutta is all set to return to big screen after an interval. She was avoiding lime light since the birth of her daughter in 2012. It was only time when she made her appearance in film David that she was seen on big screen. However nows he will be seen in a film titled ‘Chalo China’ which will be a sequel of the 2011 film ‘Chalo Dilli’. Lara will be seen romancing Vinay Pathak who was her co-star in the prequel.

Chalo Dilli was produced by Bheegi Basanti Productions which is owned by Lara. So it was her first home production venture. A source close to her has said that Lara is all excited about the project. This sequel was always in the minds of her and her husband Mahesh Bhupati. Right now the story and script is being worked out.

Vinay Pathak has also confirmed the same by saying that the script is being worked upon and the shooting will begin soon.

Everything seems to remain constant for the film except the director. Chalo Dilli was directed by Shashank Shah and this time his place will be taken by Shashank Ghosh. Shashank Shah has shown a welcome gesture for the new director on board. Shashank Ghosh os known for his films Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II (2003) and Quick Gun Murugan (2009).

The work on the film has been in full swing and Lara and Vinay are trying to adjust their calendars to accommodate the dates.
