We see number of debutante faces making entry in Hindi Film industry everyday. They can be seen in item numbers, supporting cast or in any other small roles. However only few girls could show some promise and leave there marks. There are so many examples of models and supermodels turning to acting but only handful of them have become successful in this demanding industry. Juhi Chawla and Katrina Kaif can be named as two successful examples of such female models who turned to acting from their success modeling career and achieved the top most position as heroines in Bollywood.
There is one more name that is making buss these days. She has made her debut in a 100 crore blockbuster movie. Her name has become so popular in short time that directors are running behind her to get her in their next film. She is none other than sweet, charming and equally sexy model turned actress Kainaat Arora.
Who is Kainaat Arora?
This sweet and charming young lady is born in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Kainaat has completed her studies in merchandising at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. Before turning to B-town Kainaat started her career as a model. She is best known in the industry as a cousin of late actress Divya Bharti.
Kainaat is very inspired by Divya’s work. She admires Divya a lot and feels that if she could do even a bit of what Divya had done in her short career of two years, her life will be sorted out. Such are her sublime feeling for her late cousin.
Debut with ‘Grand Masti’
In 2010 Kainaat did an item song for Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘Khatta MItha’. The song was ‘Aila Re Aila’ which was a popular number that time. Post ‘Khatta Mitha’ Kainaat got several offers for films but she denied them all as she did not want to make a typecast roles and preferred to wait for a suitable opportunity. She went to south to do some more item numbers. She performed a song with Ajith Kumar who is a super star in south film industry.
Her patience paid off and an opportunity came her way very soon when she was selected for her role in ‘Grand Masti’ after the audition of almost 20 girls. The makers of the movie were searching for a girl opposite Vivek Oberoi and after Kainaat appeared for audition, they immediately selected her. Kainaat also accepted the offer immediately as it was an opportunity for her to work with veteran film director Indra Kumar and it would have been be foolish to say no to this opportunity.
Kainaat has said that she always wanted to make her debut with a comedy film and it seems that God has fulfilled her dream with a tremendously successful blockbuster comedy movie.
Kainaat will also be doing another item song number in upcoming film ‘Hate Story 2’. The song has been sung by Mamta Sharma and is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Kainaat wanted to do a hit item song which can be a feast for New Year 2014 parties. A smart thought of her!
Very few new comers get such an opportunity to choose a role and Kainaat was a blessed one to have got that chance.
