Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a love story of a young and lovely boy and girl namely Humpy (played by Varun Dhawan) and Kavya (played by Alia Bhatt). The story is full of twists and tales. Having a humorous backdrop, the story revolves around a simple and foolish looking college guy who falls in love with an overtly smart and witty girl.

The film is produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant director Shashank Khaitan. In recent times Kanan Johar has given opportunities to many budding directors who have helped him create many successful love stories. ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ promises to be one of a kind unique love story with fresh faces in leading roles and it promises to entertain young audience in particular.

TV Actor Siddharth Shukla will be making his big screen debut with the movie. He is currently part of a popular daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu‘ aired on Colors television.
