Born on 11 Feb 1984 in Hydrabad, India, Sherlyn took her education at Stanley Girls High School. Her parent’s names are George Amitabh Chopra and Susan Chopra. She attended Saint Ann’s College for Women in Mehdipatnam. During her collage years she won the title of Miss Andhra which is a local beauty contest. This gave boost to her ambitions to enter the glamour world and get stardom. However she became the child of controversies in the very early stage of her careers. First controversy arouse when she changed her name from Mona Chopra to Sherlyn Chopra.

She started her acting career with some minor roles in movies such as Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game. These movies neither gave her fame nor name. In 2009, Sherlyn was called in to the house of Big Boss as a contestant. However she made an early exit and could not gather much popularity with her on screen performance in the reality show. Audience could merely see her as a confused young girl in a reality drama.

 

Sherlyn is known to media for giving very bold statement that no other girl of her generation will ever dare. She fell again into controversy when she commented about Mallika Sherawat and later sent legal notice to journalist Upala KBR.

 

She came to highlights with yet another controversial interview given to Maxim in which she confessed that she had sex with multiple partners in her early age.

 

In 2012 she made it big when she got a call from Playboy magazine – worlds famous monthly for men to appear as a cover girl. She recently finished a photo shoot in US and returned to India. The cover is expected to be released in October this year. Sherlyn had posted some of her intimate pictures taken during her stay at Playboy mansion but later she removed those pictures in few hours. She is one of the celebrities busy with Twitter and has a huge fan following on the social media platform. She also has posted several of her sexy and nude pictures in her twitter profile.
