Zoya Akhtar surely knows to depict the modern lifestyle through her films. Till date, all her ventures are successful and mostly youth-centric. The talented filmmaker is now making a film, ‘Gully Boy’, which is based on the lives of two underground rappers (Divine and Naezy) of the Mumbai city. Zoya has been working on the script for more than a year now and the lyrics of the film are being written by her father, Javed Akhtar. Javed feels that the movie will turn out as her daughter’s best work. Speaking to a leading daily, the lyricist said, “Gully Boy is going to be an exceptional film. I can say, this is going to be Zoya’s best film till date. I am intrigued by it.”
