We all know that Farhan Akhtar is a multi talented star. Right from Film direction to acting and singing to dancing he has got his hands dirty in all possible trades that Bollywood could offer him. Not only this but he quite succeeded in his almost all ventures. The study and research he does for his assignments is really appreciable. He prepares for the role he is about to play with a complete analysis of the role and observing the traits of the character. He did a similar research before he played his character in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. His popularity is continuously rising post the movie.

This time he repeated it for the character of Milkha Singh – India’s Olympian Athlete Runner in 80’s. He got involved with the character so much so that it reminded audience of the olden days when  the then young and charming Milkha Singh was popular among his fans – especially female admirers. Not surprisingly most of the women are from Punjab. The twist in the tale happened when after seeing the images of Farhan as Milkha Singh an elderly lady from Patiala wrote a bag full of letters to Farhan.

The old lady seemed to be infatuated by Milkha Singh in her youth and the images of Farhan in Milkha get up set her off on a memory trail. The lady also told Farhan how Milkha was loved in his youth by female fans and also gave him some tips on his style and winning techniques.

Farhan is really amused by these letters as it is a success of an actor portraying the real life hero on screen. He must be feeling proud of the popularity he and the movie ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag‘ is receiving even before its release.
