The makers of Diljit Dosanjh and Taapsee Pannu starrer ‘Soorma’ have finished shooting the film in December 2017 itself and now the movie is in post-production stage. The release date of the same was decided months ago and was scheduled to release on 29th June. But looks like Shaad Ali, the director of the film, is planning to postpone its release date as Rajkumar Hirani’s film (Sanjay Dutt’s biopic) is also releasing on the same date. Initially, Dutt’s biopic was scheduled to release on 30th March, but the film is still not completed and is taking time in the post-production, leaving the makers in no other option than pushing the film to 29th June and that’s final. ‘Soorma’ being made on a small budget will have to face consequences if gets released with Hirani’s film, so its makers are planning for a suitable further date.
