Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are the current super hit actor-director pair of Bollywood. The duo has given us two blockbusters (‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’) in two consecutive years and now, the two are all set to collaborate for the third time with their film, ‘Bharat’, which will release in 2019. It’s a known fact that ‘Bharat’ will be a Hindi remake of the South Korean film, ‘Ode To My Father’ and Salman’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, has purchased the rights of the film. But it was Bhai’s idea to do this film. Talking to a leading portal, director Zafar revealed, “That film came to me from Salman himself. He gave me the film and said he really likes it and asked me to watch it. I saw it and really liked it. (But) You can’t make the film exactly how it is in the original. The socio-political scenario affects your story and the character. But I liked the basic crux of the film. Salman said after ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, you do this.”

It was reported that ‘Bharat’ will revolve around India-Pakistan partition story. However, Ali refused to comment on the same. When the director was asked who will be working in the film along with Salman, he said, “We will begin March onwards. I want to sleep for a month. We are at the elementary stage.”

Well, Salman is currently shooting for Remo D’Souza’s ‘Race 3’ and after that, he will reportedly be hosting the third season of ‘Dus Ka Dum’. Once he finishes doing all his ongoing projects, then only ‘Bharat’ will go on floors.
