2 States Movie Poster
An upcoming movie ‘2 states’ which is based upon a novel by popular novelist Chetan Bhagat has already created much hype. Audience are eagerly awaiting its release. The film is jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar. The film will be releasing on 18th April 2014.
The film is based upon the love story of a couple – one is from north India while other is from south India. Lead roles are played by Arjun Kapoor who is playing Krish Malhotra and opposite him is starring Alia Bhatt who is playing Ananya Swaminathan. They meet at IIM Ahmedabad and as expected, fall in love with each other. Real problem starts when they decide to get married. Since they belong to two different states and have drastically different cultural background their parents don’t happen to agree and once they agree, they impose certain terms for agreement. The film is romantic comedy and revolves around the complexity and fuss created by the cultural differences between the two families.
